1.5 km from the centre of Priekule town, in the middle part of the right bank slope of the Virga River, 100 m NW from the Virga River, 120 m S-SW from the Joguļi stone with carvings, 660 m NE from the Elīši Cup-Marked Stone, at the bottom of the forest-covered slope of an individual bedrock coast protuberance (between the Virga River, tributary and a tiny side ravine), 1 m below the surface level of the elevation, on its E slope.
In a meadow, approximately 200 m from the Jēči Mill and about 100 m from the Jēči homestead. Nearby there is te Jēči Mill, its park and nature trails.
It is impressive with its truncated side; on the side of the stone one can still see traces of rusty nails-spikes. In nature it does not stand out particularly as it is located on a depression, in the
0.5 km down the estuary of the Peida River and about 0.8 km down the estuary of the Ramata River, in the Salaca River – close to its left bank.
In the forests of the Skaņkalne Parish, in the above the flood terrace in a rather underbrushy forest. Not far from the stone there are foundations of a building overgrown with the forest. On the opposite bank of the Salaca River there is a sauna house.
