It is worth seeing, but there is a plenty of other stones of similar dimensions, finding of which is much easier. The object is located in the middle of a field and it is not difficult to notice.
About 5 km N from Embūte, on the slope of the Vēre Hill — hillfort, on its top part, in a bushy forest of deciduous trees. The nearest homestead Krišjāņi is about 600 m W from the hill and stone.
Soonda village,along a soil road 385 m to the North-West from the Kuivastu-Kuressaare road, from there 20 m to the South-West by a pile of stones and coppice.
On the SW slope of the Golden Hill (Zelta kalniņš), 2.5 m from its foot, 300 m N of the Āpji homestead.
