Description
Legendary secular stone: 4,2 x 3,1 x 2,5 m large, circumference 12,70 m, volume – 13 cubic meters. Large-grained red granite. Around 80% of the surface is overgrown with moss. Two fragments from the stone are located on the side of it, in the river.
Narrative
A legend explaining the origin of the name of the stone. The tailors (“skroderis” in Latvian) had rolled the stone uphill, but the stone had rolled down and injured the tailors. Since that time tailors are lame or otherwise handicapped.
Attraction
Well-shaped secular stone in the wild river valley. Enclosed by wild nature. A beloved place of the beavers.

Even no trails in the vicinity of the stone. Nearest towns – Kronauce and Dobele. Dobele castle ruins, Dobele Craftsmen Centre, Upitis’ Lilac Garden, etc. are found in Dobele. In Kronauce one shall find the mills’ lake, Tervete brewery and E.Zihmanis
