Description
Probable cult hill of the Devil’s Mouthful Hillock at the Sauka castle mound. Probably, an ancient cult site. Similar as in other places of Selonia, also here next to the castle mound is a smaller hillock, which may have been used in the ancient times as a holy site.
Narrative
The hillock, which is overgrown with pines and bushes, is called – Devil’s Mouthful Hillock; and there is a story telling the hillock had been made by the Devil by carrying soil to the present place.

Availability
Hard to access. A small meadow with Siberian hogweed and a marshy area shall be crossed. Without special clothes (rubber boots, sealed clothing) the examination of the hill is not recommended.
