Description
The lake is 1,2 x 0,5 km large; it has marshy and overgrown banks. It is best accessible from the south by means of a facilitated forest road.
Narrative
On the banks of the scenic lake the wide-known Zebrus Elkus Hill is found. The title of the lake (the root of the name “Svet-es” in Latvian refers to “holy”) makes one think the lake could have been a holy place in the old days.

Scenic, but poorly accessible.

Rather hard to access.
Infrastructure, management, facilities
On the southern bank of the lake the “Latvian State Forests” have installed an information stand and signs. Along the lake there is a trail leading to the Zebrus Elku Hill. Nearest towns with tourist infrastructure -Dobele and Jaunpils. Dobele castle.
