Description
Three bronze age burial cairns; two long cairns and one round
Narrative
The cairns were built to honor the dead, to keep the dead from haunting the living, and to mark the territory of the tribe. A whole set of rituals and cult based aspects were involved in the burial process. The forefathers could also be called upon at special occasions, for advice and other purposes.
Attraction
A beautiful site on the Bronze Age coast line.

Go off the new E4 towards Norrala north of Söderhamn, then continue to Norrala and follow the signs towards Skärså.
